Fr Ebuka Umekachikelu, MSP - Homily Thursday, April 11, 2019

There is growing tension between the Jews and Jesus. They no longer understand him anymore. Not because what he says is not intelligible but because they hate him and are ill-disposed towards him. They twist and distort every word of his. This often happens when we carry animosity and resentment in our hearts against others. It becomes difficult to appreciate anything the person does or says.  This resentment will eventually lead them to putting Jesus to death. Scriptures warn us against allowing resentment lead us to sin.
Jesus meek and humble of heart, Make my heart like yours. Amen.
